When The Day Turns Cold
The times when I recall to remember
as the year turns cold
How we disliked the icy road...
We used to expect the geese
But this year they remained in ease,
odd acts, no doubts.
Warmer weather, blue sky,
No sirens shouting on streets,
Sweet music, neat tie,
No fear of slippery drive on concretes.
I may not but remember to watch
the months when snow suspended schools for days,
How we loathed the unsafe traveling ways..
